So the BIG NEWS is...

I've been doing a lot of projects that I have to keep a lid on for the most part.  I was asked to help with the cover of the first volume of Midwinter-Comic (pretty awesome people and an intriguing comic, if you like magic and scifi and handsome thieves, you might want to give it a lookie) and of course I've been working on Daughter of the Lilies with MegSyv (if you haven't read the comic yet GO DO SO NOW). And then I've been trying to finish up commissions and then I'm updating commission prices again.  Still trying to figure out a good way to handle that without being too wordy.

But the BIG NEWS is that after years of waffling back and forth about it, I'm going to try and give this whole comic thing a serious run and try to put out a webcomic of my own making.  I'm going to be setting up a Patreon soon (all the stuff is pretty much written out, I just need to make edits and upload an appropriate art banner), which isn't strictly for supporting the comic specifically, but my entire career as an artist, which happens to be very focused on this webcomic.  This means that the Patreon is actually going to be live before the comic is, but it also means that rewards are not directly linked to the webcomic.  I'm also working on a joint venture with some other artists and writers in the making of a monster themed anthology.  So with enough support on Patreon, you'll also be able to see sneak peeks at the illustrations I'll be making for that anthology.  Additionally, patrons will be privy to information on the comic including conceptual sketches of environments, props, characters, etc etc etc among other things.

The overall goal of this is to eventually be able to stop doing commissions and focus solely on the webcomic, but until that happens I'll still have to continue to put most of my efforts into commissions.
