So. Here we are, a little more than a year later from when I first began my Commission Raffle in order to pay off my rent.

You may have noticed that things are slow. Very slow.

So here's a few updates for you:

--As you know I joined the Phoenix Project back in December.  See: [link] for details.
--I got that Character Art Lead position and have had my hands full trying to organize and get things underway since we're trying to get some product ready for our Kickstarter.
--My tablet is fixed (I have no idea if that happened before or after the I joined TPP but if you didn't know, it is)
--I had surgery on my foot on the 4th.  It's doing very well and in it's second cast. The first and second week were kind of terrible.  I've been sick at least three times since the surgery and so things have not been going as planned. I haven't even been able to work on commissions or concept art for TPP because of how sick I was.
--We've had minor hiccups and due to unforeseen circumstances, annnnnnnnnnd I ended up becoming Art Director.  This all took place last week. (and no, I'm not getting paid for this. It's all volunteer work)
--I'm doing much better and I'm even sitting up at the moment(though if I sit up too long my foot gets the bloaties and starts to hurt, actually, I need to elevate it now...)
--Okay, what else? I'm meeting with a therapist now and things are going well.
--Oh! I figured out that I have somewhere between 100-180 commissions left. I still have to update my chart, but yeah... two pages of DA notes (36 notes total) making 36 commissioners, and I figured the average number of commissions per commissioner is about 5 (because some people ordered 1, others around 15-20).  
--I've been putting off and putting off sending in an application to Valve.  Maybe someday I'll work up the courage to do it.
--I'm working on Legends of Wind again. This month I'm adding more narration to existing pages from the original text. Some readers complained that they didn't know what was going on, and the writer felt that this was the best course of action.



Raffle Commissions:
I had a business proposal from this morning and he would like to help out with getting these done. It HAS been a year and Icy is a very good friend of mine and an artist I respect very much and I am considering taking up his offer.  However I want to hear from the commissioners themselves as to if you would be okay if I accepted this generous offer to help me out. If you are dead set and don't want to get the promised sketch commission from anyone else, then PLEASE say so. Next Saturday I'll weigh all the responses and take action based on it.  In the meantime I will try to get more done.  I am very, very sorry for how long this is taking me and I will try to do better. And again, as always, if you want a refund, please contact me.

What? What does Icy get in return? My soul and undying obedience.

Actually he's working on a project for a game called Magni and he wants me to do some illustration work.  However I'm not taking any more work or collaborative projects on until my commission queue is empty. Plus he's a friend.


In other related news, I haven't been active and I haven't been posting any of the art I've done here because honestly... I have a very high sense of responsibility and I feel very pressured to deliver on what I've promised people. And so any time I do a personal piece of artwork, I'm very worried that someone is going to point fingers and call me a liar or a cheat or scam artist again and that is also hindering my ability to work overall. I really wish it wasn't, but that's a lot of guilt to pile on someone who already feels horrible so... in all I'm really sorry for my silence and I'd like your forgiveness for it these past weeks.
