As done as it's gonna get for now
Added the light sources, and did the lighting (the part that was most fun was highlighting Niipo's metallic parts. next step is to add value and color.
refined the lines, changed some of Niipo's attributes and changed the monsters and Hellions. I really like this design a whole lot more. And not just because there's a Narseakitteh from Hell in the picture.
so... my most recent obsession is City of Heroes. I'm using it as a reward for doing work. And in my business class we have to do a self-promotional piece, which is basically sending a piece of our artwork to a potential client AKA someone we want to hire us. This is one of the compositions I'm considering, but we'll see how it goes. For the different kinds of companies I'm trying to apply to, I will need to make two different promotional pieces. One to target more family friendly audiences and one to target gamers and action/adventure.
To explain the picture a bit, I was in a mission with
when all three of them died and I was left alone with what we dubbed to be grudolfs. Grudolfs are scary big and green and quite frightening and despite Niipo's huge stature ( 8' ) and her ability to summon demons from Hell, she is quite the delicate undead cyborg maiden and mustn't allow her self near action until she's stronger. So, since all my pets were dead, I took off running and ended up in a dead end. Luckily only one followed me all that way and I was able to summon a demon to take it down. But running away happened twice (or was it three times?) in the course of the mission. We all had a good laugh at my shrieks of horror and in the end we made it through, even if we DID have to bring in Roah XD

Niipo's design is mine.
