GGFARORE Progress Walkthrough by Nytrinhia GGFARORE Progress Walkthrough by Nytrinhia
To be updated as progress is made.

This is my depiction of Farore, the Golden Goddess of Courage.

Farore belongs to Nintendo.

If you can guess all the symbolic objects and their meanings that I've put into this piece (including colors when they're added) before I finish, you get brownie points and maybe a free sketch 8D Have fun looking through!

Also, if anyone would like to give a critique, I'd like your feedback. Animals are definitely not my strong point, so any help I can get with the wolves is appreciated.

Actually, I think that the wolves look very good! Honestly, I like them a lot ^u^ The only thing I can think of is that you might be able to see a dewclaw on the wolf foreleg of the that is laying down.

Hmmm....I think the wolves represent Link in Twilight Princess and the Kokiri gem are earrings! I think Farore is holding weeds or wheat as it traditionally represents harvest, fertility, and/or the four seasons like the Greek goddess Demeter. Her long hair is hung on her antlers given the illusion of a willow tree. Of course, the antlers and her deer ears can represent the animal kingdom. Her staff is shaped as a tree branch or root. I think her necklace has something to do with the Deku race or a Deku plant. She is surrounded by fairies because those are like her cupids or guardians of her children, the Kokiri race. They can also represent the entire Kokiri race itself or as the human version of the deku tree. Her hair covers the wolves (link) to protect them from fear, give courage and guide them spiritually with them like our main hero Link. I bet she is wearing a long green tunic just like Link.

I'm sorry, I mean the fairies fly around her like the Deku tree is surrounded with the supernatural, Kokiri, and fairies.

Whoa, I think Farore is one of my favorites! The fairies I think are from the fact that she helps the Kokiri, it looks like the Shiekah eye on here forehead and the Forest Gem as earrings, antlers and wolves to mean nature and nobility (maybe?), and it looks like wheat stalks and a tree staff. VERY cool!

(I also can't wait for you to come back in spring. I'm going to try and take sculpture and Art 117! Whoo!)
