Comm - CoHMissKyo - Lightning Hero Refined

Refined sketch step for a commission for CoHMissKyo of a lightning super hero.

Right/back foot probably needs adjustment, but otherwise I like the design.  The inspiration was to make it a power glove knight sort of dealie from which he could make a sword and shield of lightning (as per commissioner’s specifications).  I had particular trouble with the mask, as I didn’t want there to be enough information to make it any particular kind of person, but I also decided after a bit that a full mask wouldn’t work for this particular design, as it dehumanized him a lot. In full color, the mask will better resemble a face shield with shiny and reflective bits, as will the power gloves and belt.  Still debating textures of the whole suit, but I still got time to decide on those.
