DONE! *faints* Guess what's going in my portfolio? THIS IS!! TOO MUCH OF A FRIGGIN PAIN NOT TO!
Anywho, lookit the pretty cast shadows! *noodle arms*
I was PROBABLY going to do more with the sky in the background, but decided to leave it the way it was as sub-important to everything else in the piece.
Crit and comment appreciated!
So, this is what I'm thinking for lighting, just a conept, not finished. Thoughts, concerns, comments, critique, I'd like to hear them all. This is turning out SO much bigger than I thought, but *shrug* that's art.
oh, and I don't think I can call this a not-so-doodle anymore. I'm pretty sure it's way past that point XP
And yeah, I'll probably keep using the phrase not-so-doodle. It was a joke at first, but I like the term.
Not-so-doodle companion piece to Icy's:
*insert witty commentary here*
He's an elf, all of his skin is blue. Not sure if his colors will stay the way they are. I'll probably end up changing them in terms of value and saturation, not hue. The colors in the sky are most likely to change as well. Posting this now because I really need to stop working on it and get something else done. I've already used about 200 layers just to do the lines on the background so.... yeah. But I've learned a lot of neat things while working on it. So there's that.
Stuff belongs to people. Pretty sure a lot of credit goes to Icy, and some goes to me, so if you're not either of us don't do anything that requires Pan coming after you with a shotgun and legal authorities. Oh, and the name is with credit to the Icy and the people in my livestream at the time. And my mom. Don't ask.
