Her toes stretched painfully as she stood up as far as they would let her. Her eyes barely rose above the top of the wardrobe, even with a stool. She sighed as she saw the disturbed dust. He had been there. But that easily could have been from a week ago. She climbed back down and checked under the table in the dining hall again. It'd been more than five minutes since she'd called out, "Ready or not, here I come," and she would have stopped if not for the possibility that he might never leave where he was if she didn't find him.
Jo-kun tapped her foot on the hardwood floor and blew a stray strand of hair out of her face. It was by far, the hardest game of Hide-and-Seek yet. Even limiting the hiding places to the main floor was not exactly making it easier to find the hidees.

It was too easy. She only looked up when it came to wardrobes, cupboards and shelves. His lips curled into a grin that soon became a roar as Jaryez flung himself down on the unsuspecting seeker.
"RRRRWAAAAOOOR!" Jo-kun didn't stand a chance against his 80 pound body as it landed on her shoulders and they both tumbled to the ground.
"EEEACK!" her palms stung as they hit the floor, but all she could feel was relief; she was starting to think he might've tried hanging over the balcony. The small alcove above the kitchen doorway was a considerably better alternative. She quickly turned around and caught the white-haired boy in a crushing hug which he returned. "Found you!" He didn't argue the point.

Awww! So cute! I know you had a bit of a scuffle coming up with what to do for youth, but this turned out great! (Nice line variety. In the real world, that's what artists do.)
(And LOL, ooooh hoop earrings. An Era in my Life.)
